Lee A. Dalphonse (he/him) is a seasoned clinician with over 30 years of experience supporting adults, couples, families, and seniors through a wide range of mental health challenges. He brings a depth of knowledge and clinical expertise to his work, along with a strong commitment to helping clients build meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Lee specializes in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship and marriage concerns, life transitions, stress and burnout, and co-occurring mental health conditions. He also has experience working with individuals navigating autism spectrum differences and complex psychiatric needs. His work is especially impactful for those seeking direction, greater self-understanding, and support in building confidence and resilience.

His therapeutic approach is collaborative, strength-based, and tailored to each individual. Lee integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, and trauma-informed care. He believes therapy should meet the client where they are, adapting his style to align with each person’s needs, preferences, and goals.

Clients often describe Lee as respectful, attentive, and empowering. He creates a space where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported while also offering honest, real-time feedback to help clients stay aligned with their personal values and goals. His style balances compassion with accountability, helping clients recognize their strengths while also challenging patterns that may be holding them back.

In the first session, clients can expect a collaborative and informative experience. Lee works with clients to understand their concerns, identify priorities, and begin building a clear and personalized path forward. Progress in therapy with Lee often includes reduced symptoms of anxiety and distress, increased self-confidence, and a stronger sense of hope and direction.

Lee believes the foundation of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship. He prioritizes building a strong, trusting connection where clients feel safe exploring both challenges and possibilities for growth. His sessions are engaged and motivating, creating space for both meaningful reflection and moments of lightness, even during difficult conversations.

He particularly enjoys working with individuals who are motivated for change and willing to actively engage in the therapeutic process.
