Finn, LMHC, LCDP (she/her), is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional in Rhode Island with over 7 years of experience working with college students, adults, couples, families, and seniors. She holds degrees at the associate, bachelor’s, and master’s levels and has completed additional training in Gottman-based work, with experience as a family-focused speaker.

Karen integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including DBT, CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Positive Psychology. She works closely with clients to understand their needs, offer clear direction, and provide practical tools and alternative perspectives to support meaningful change.

Karen is known for being warm, helpful, and deeply invested in her clients’ growth. She focuses on helping individuals build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and become more goal-oriented. Through therapy, clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while developing accountability and the ability to make intentional choices in their lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Karen enjoys music, dancing, reading, and spending time with her family, as well as her dogs and cat.
