Message to clients
“I realize you may feel shame or guilt in response to experiencing symptoms of a mental health disorder. You may have stereotypes as to what it means to be diagnosed with a disorder and to undergo treatment. I feel it’s important for you to understand you are more than a diagnosis, and your worth is not defined by your diagnosis. I believe sometimes we are simply suffering in response to a challenge presented by life. We can work together to find the path out of your suffering.“
