“It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” ~ Epictetus

Hi! My hope is to connect with my clients by creating a warm, caring, empathetic, and safe environment so they can find healing. My approach to the therapeutic relationship is to provide my clients with the knowledge and tools they can use moving forward in their lives. My training as a Holistic Counselor is to include a client’s mind, body, and spirit in finding balance in their life through the therapeutic process.

My education includes a Master of Arts in Holistic Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Salve Regina University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP). I also have training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My education and experience have taught me to look at the client’s mental health, physical health, spiritual health, their environment, and finally their support system to help them achieve balance in their lives.

My experience has been working with clients struggling with mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, ADHD, grief, stress, low self-esteem, and trauma/PTSD. My treatment modalities include Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychoeducation, Addiction education, Mindfulness, and breathing techniques.

My focus is to provide clients with a trusting, working therapeutic relationship by creating a safe, supportive, positive, caring, non judgmental space for clients to talk about and explore their life’s struggles.
