Jennifer works with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and teens. She has extensive experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, chronic illness, grief, and stress. Her background also includes work with tic disorders such as Tourette Syndrome and PANDAS, as well as individuals navigating disabilities, including blindness and low vision. She has supported families through parenting challenges, academic advocacy, and complex developmental and emotional needs.

Her approach is rooted in person-centered (Rogerian) therapy, emphasizing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuine connection. Jennifer believes that when individuals feel truly heard and accepted, meaningful growth can occur. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, play therapy, and creative modalities such as art, music, and relaxation exercises. With a holistic perspective, she considers each client’s emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.

Jennifer is known for creating a warm, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves openly. Her style is gentle, intuitive, and deeply compassionate, helping individuals build trust, increase self-awareness, and move toward greater peace and fulfillment.

She brings a wealth of personal and professional life experience into her work, allowing her to connect with clients in an authentic and meaningful way. Jennifer finds it incredibly rewarding to help individuals rediscover joy, build resilience, and feel supported through life’s challenges.

Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, being with animals, practicing yoga, and connecting with her family. She is also a certified pet therapy facilitator and a member of the Windwalker Humane Coalition.

As Carl Rogers once said, “When someone really hears you without passing judgment on you… it feels good.” Jennifer strives to create that experience for every client she works with.
