Heather G. (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Addiction and is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in training. She works with college students, adults, and couples, supporting individuals and relationships through a wide range of emotional and life challenges.
Heather has experience helping clients navigate ADHD, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, parenting concerns, divorce, relationship and marriage difficulties, stress and burnout, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ related experiences. She is passionate about helping individuals and couples build healthier communication patterns, strengthen relationships, and develop tools for personal growth.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and person-centered therapy. Heather’s style is open-minded, accepting, honest, and collaborative. She works alongside clients to better understand their experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop strategies that support positive change.
Heather strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment where clients feel safe to speak openly. She believes therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment. Her goal is to support individuals who are motivated to grow, learn, and improve their overall well-being.
